- The deputy director is responsible for the implementation of COFACE Group¿s standards and policies in respect to the credit insurance business in Romania.
- He / She needs to make sure that the group operations standards and company¿s internal rules are followed by all.
- He / She is in charge to develop the credit insurance product and operations which enable to provide the standard Coface product on the Romanian market.
- He / She monitors and controls the daily business activity and makes sure that the quality standards are met within the credit insurance company.
- He / She reports to the Country Management Romania.
- He / She is, in co-ordination with the Country Manager, the corresponding partner for Shareholders and the Regional Management in all questions related with the credit insurance business line.
- He / She works closely with company¿s management and advises it on all questions regarding the relevant credit insurance issues.
- He / She is the first person for co-ordinating the ¿technical¿ expertise related to contracts, claims, while being dynamic, market driven and very customer oriented person.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operations
- He / She is in charge of co-ordination and development of the contracts, claims department organisation within the company.
- He / She is the first person responsible for the development of the products and adaptation to the Romanian market.
- He / She keeps an eye on efficiency and integrity related to all business aspects: underwriting, customer support, product, workflow and IT.
- He / She are responsible for the credit insurance business development and will use the inter-companies synergies for achieving the highest performance and operational results.
2. Customers and external relations
- He / She sets objectives for the sales team (including partners), leads its work and determines priorities in relation with the objectives after approval of the Country Manager.
- He / She coordinates together with the Country Manager the collaboration with insurance brokers, strategic partners, suppliers and Insurance Supervisory Board.
3. Reporting
- He / She is responsible to monitor the following financial reporting duties together with the Financial Controller
A/Monthly financial report for the Group
B/Quarterly Consolidation reporting
C/Yearly financial statement and financial report
D/Monthly reports for the country management and as required for company¿s management
E/Other financial reports as required
4. Budgeting
- He / She is responsible for the co-ordination of yearly budget preparation and for the preparation of the consolidated Group¿s budget and business plan
- He / She advises the company¿s management and other team members involved in the budget process on all questions related with budget works
- He / She follows up the Budget fulfilment, examines the differences and issues the related reports for the company¿s and country management.
5. Other
a/ Special projects assigned by the Country Manager
- He / She will be also expected to be constantly aware of all factors, likely to effect business conditions for Group¿s companies being political or economic and report these to the Country management along with recommendation for future actions.
- University degree in economics - ASE or similar. MBA ¿ an asset.
- Foreign languages - fluent English obligatory. German, French - an advantage.
- PC literate = MSOffice, browsing, e-mail.
- Skills in organizing, planning, controlling, assessment, negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer orientation, good market and customers knowledge;
- Good financial knowledge and experience in working with lawyers, financial and general managers;
- Capable to work on strict deadlines and under pressure;
Experience:
- Relevant experience as a junior manager / manager in an international insurance, factoring, leasing, banking services company or bank¿ minimum 2 years.
- Comfortable and experienced with credit insurance operations and commercial issues.
