RESPONSABILITATI

The main purpose of the job is to manage preparation, alignment, and communication of a high quality demand plan with a planning horizon of current year + 1.
The Demand Planner is responsible for managing all activities to develop & communicate the demand plan for the subsidiary. The final demand plan must balance cross functional input and reflect current commercial/customer plans in order to meet business objectives. The Demand Planner will be the main conduit between the commercial team & category supply chain to achieve an aligned/synchronized demand plan and drive continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Bottom Up Demand Planning & Collaboration – Regularly interact with commercial teams (customer development, consumer marketing) to gather customer plans & other demand inputs. Determine deviations vs. statistical demand plan, gain alignment, & document key assumptions.
- Top Down Review During Monthly Business Planning Discipline - Prepare & participate in the monthly business planning discipline process to develop an aligned demand plan. Gaps & opportunities are identified, quantified & addressed.
- Synchronize Supply & Demand - Ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan. Identify supply risks/opportunities/constraints, potential solutions, and impact on “unconstrained demand plan”.
- New Product Introductions & Life Cycle Planning -Work cross functionally to finalize pipeline volume for new products. Track/measure actual shipments vs. documented key assumptions. Collaborate with cross functional team to manage & communicate sku life cycle changes.
- Measure/Track Performance - Measure, report, and drive improvement of demand planning accuracy.
- Communicate & Manage Demand – Monitor orders and shipments on a regular basis. Identity/Communicate significant changes. Facilitate Fast Track process.

Specific Requirements

-Proficiency in English language and computer literacy are a must (Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Lotus Notes, SAP)

Education and experience required

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration; B.S. in Engineering, Finance, Logistics or equivalent experience. (MBA would be a plus)
- At least 3 years of Consumer Goods experience in Sales/Customer Development, Manufacturing, Customer Service & Logistics, Finance, and/or Marketing.
