Administration of Oracle databases for all Metro business application. A core business applications of Metro Group are apllications for a complete article and supplier management.
Job responsibilities:
Is responsible for: monitoring of the daily business and for maintenance the growth of database.
Able to solve databases daily problems and to improve of rules for checking highwatermarks.
Able to interpret and reacto based on the logfile content.
Is responsible for reporting statistics about usage / utilisation / tiering of the database..
Perfom comparing analisys of the database growth ( medium-term till long-term forcasts)
Perform reorganisation of Databases
Is involved in SW Installation and in Oracle hot fixes installation.
Participate at international projects, as new country or new store within the country database and Oracle software installation.
Create training materials for internal (inside the team) usage.
Education
University Degree in IT field ( automatics, electronics, cybernetics, computer engineering)
Professional Experience:
IT engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in Oracle database administration
Ablities and Competencies:
System basic knowledge (AIX)
Know-how in scheduling systems (preferred TWS)
English is a mandatory languages
Project management methodology
Leadership and communication skills
Capability to work across organizations
Experience In Siebel represents an advantage
