We are looking for OUR CLIENT a dedicated database developer to design, develop, maintain and evolve high standard database applications across the organization, in a timely and scalable way. He will be part of a creative team, responsible for all aspects of the ongoing database development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
What your responsibilities will be:
Design and deploy data table structures, queries and reports.
Development and maintenance of the database stored procedures, views and functions for hosted web applications.
Coordinate and work with other technical colleagues to develop relational databases and secondary databases.
Identify inefficiencies in current databases and investigate solutions to ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements.
Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.
Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs.
Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
Development and maintenance of Data Warehouse and OLAP data cubes.
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
What you will must to know:
Strong Microsoft SQL Server expertise.
At least 1 year working as database developer or related role.
SQL server administration experience. The basics of running Microsoft SQL Server: users, permissions, backup, recovery, and monitoring.
Ability to write complex SQL queries.
Experience with database tuning, running diagnostics, query optimization and other performance tuning.
Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, and experience with best practices around database operations.
Ability to understand client requirements and functional specifications.
