-Defines the database specifications;
- Develops the databases;
- Database performance monitoring / tuning;
- Environment cloning / replication / upgrading;
- Database administration;
- Maintaining database security.
-Very good knowledge of relational database concepts;
-Working experience with SQL Server (2000 or 2005), including Transact SQL and XML;
-Experience related to at least medium size databases;
-Performance monitoring/tuning experience;
-Experience in OLAP, BI, SQL Reporting Services, designing data models is a plus;
-Experience with other RDBMS systems than SQL Server is a plus;
-Ability to integrate well with a strong technical team;
-Very well organized;
-Attention to details;
-Strong analytical skills;
-Quick learner;
-Creative;
-Self managed and motivated, proactive approach.
Required qualification:
-Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Information Technology or related engineering);
-1+ year of experience as DB Architect;
-Specific training / certification is a plus;
-Fluent English and Romanian.
