* Installs and upgrades databases.
* Prepares and reviews SQL and PL/SQL scripts for product installations and migrations;
* Supports network administrator with database administration of internal IT systems;
* Prepares or reviews physical database designs;
* Creates and modifies database structures;
* Enrolls users and maintains system security;
* Tuning, configuration, replication, backs up and restores databases;
* Windows 2003 servers administration (Active Directory, IIS Web Servers, etc.).
* University degree (Business IT, Computer Science, Mathematics);
* Minimum 2 years full-time working experience as DBA;
* Knowledge of: MySQL, MSSQL, RDBMS, SQL, PL/ SQL, Linux, Windows 2000/ 2003, Shell scripting;
* Previous experience with high performance and high availability systems and with systematic software development methodologies;
* Good English knowledge;
* Commitment, stability, responsibility;
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
* Highly motivated and ability to work alone or in small teams;
* Additional Advantages: MCDBA.
