The key area of responsibility:
- Installation and configuration of the Windows server 2003 and 2008 operating systems
- Remote and corporate administration of Windows 2003 server and Windows 2008 server systems
- Installation and configuration of Windows Server native services like DNS, DHCP, Active directory, DFS, IIS
- Troubleshooting of ongoing issues on the mentioned operating systems
- Installation of related patches and updates to the server infrastructure.
- Performing server related regular operational tasks on our infrastructure across our managed locations
- Creating the related documentation of the existing and planned environment
- Participation on preparation and evaluation of technical design for new projects and improvements
- Communication and cooperation with other IT teams, like user support, network team, security team, ...
- Design, coordinate and implement complex Data services scenarios as per the various client requirements.
- Active participation in the capacity planning for the server infrastructure, suggest the server improvements.
- Provide sufficient support in implementing Quality standards, including Information Security Standards as per Organization strategy and adhered to.
Ensure adherence to policies, processes and procedures defined for his/her area of work
- Participate on periodical review and audits of the system servers environment,
- Ensure secure operation of all servers and services through the use of security team process
- University Degree - Computer Science;
- Min 2 years work experience in a similar role;
- Expert in Windows 2003 server and Windows 2008 server systems;
- Expert in Active directory, DNS services, DHCP services;
- Understanding TCP/IP;
- Able to individually solve problems (e.g. troubleshoot some performance issue);
- Ability to deal with stress of competing priorities and diverging interests within the same immediate time frame;
- Ability to work in international and cross cultural team and environment;
- Communicative;
- Team player;
- Fluency in English.
