We are seeking a Customer Support Engineer to support our Global WiMAX and wireless broadband customers at locations throughout Europe.

Job Description
As part of your daily activity, you will provide remote assistance via phone/emails to Alvarion customers for troubleshooting and solving any issue related to the wireless networks.
When required, you will provide on-site support and service to Alvarion s customers operations.
You will ensure post-sale on-site support for Alvarion equipment and its management systems in conjunction with other networking equipment.
You will provide certified training for Alvarion equipment at our customer locations in Europe.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required.


CERINTE

- Good knowledge in computer communications, LAN, core protocols (TCP/IP, Layer 2&3 protocols)
- Basic concepts in radio systems (WiMAX, WiFi), radio modulations (FM, GFSK, OFDM etc.), antennas, measurement equipment for computers and radio systems
- IP Telephony/VoIP knowledge
- Customer Service oriented, customer facing experience
- Very good English, spoken and written
- Good communication and presentation skills

Would be an asset:
- Experience in telecommunications, mainly with wireless & network operators
- Certification by known communications companies, such as Cisco, Juniper and others
- Knowledge of one additional foreign language (Italian, Spanish, French)
