We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our professional Customer Service team.

- You will be responsible for receiving and amending orders and updating the database.
- Since you will be liaising very closely with the other in house teams you need to ensure that the whole order to delivery process takes place smoothly.
Primary Duties
- Receive and process customer orders and control all aspects of administration in the relevant areas.
- Maintain an excellent level of service for your own portfolio of accounts, whilst also contributing to the overall service level of the department.
- Receive orders and order amendments and use the in-house computer system to place, amend and control these
- Liaise closely with planning, technical and manufacturing departments in order to agree on and achieve order despatch dates, ensuring deliveries are made in line with customer needs at minimum cost to the company.
- Place contract orders at regular intervals throughout the year and stock orders using customer forecasts, where available, to ensure that material is readily available for customers.
- Determine priorities with Production Planning and agree priorities independently in line with the business plan in order to manage fluctuations in capacity, whilst keeping the order book up to date.
- Liaise with Production and Technical Departments with regard to customer inquiries
- Check order acknowledgments and invoices, ensuring that they are despatched as appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Quote price, delivery and time frames; provide baseline technical information for product lines.
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Confident and organised approach.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, team player
- Solid computer skills (MRP is an advantage)
- Experience within a Manufacturing or packaging environment is an advantage.
