Our client is a company that provides the full chain of logistics from the factory of the supplier up to consignee’s warehouse using their own barges and trucks and the good connections with other service providers.
The shipping-line is operating on a regular and punctual basis, to the clients' full satisfaction. The company transports goods on a weekly basis between the port of Constanta and the port in Giurgiu, and from there on to the West, on the Danube, or in the direction of Bucharest and other destinations (Romanian, as well as others).
Providing Container Terminal services along Logistics and Storage Services to local and global new customers, the company is seeking to further develop the site.
With the EU policy of strengthening the inner-waterways utilization, this innovative new facility, both the port and the logistics center are more attractive than ever before.
Their quality policy calls for the highest level of customer satisfaction through continuous improvement, as to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations and requests.

RESPONSABILITIES

The Customer Service Manager will serve as point of contact for clients to ensure that the needs of our clients are addressed in an efficient and timely manner.
Manage all interaction with shipping lines, freight forwarders, road transporters, rail operators, CFS operators and empty yard/container repair facilities to ensure that clients service needs and the sales objectives are met.
Responsible to maintain current information on vessel schedules of different shipping lines and their performance.
Keep relevant staff up to date with customer service level requirements and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor and record agreed performance criteria for each customer.
Monitor competitive activity.
Provide market intelligence and market research.
Manage in an efficient manner the Customer Service Department.
Train the reporting staff.


CERINTE

Previous experience on a similar job, preferably within the field of Transportation and freight forwarding, shipping industry, container transportation and vessel operations
Superior studies
Demonstrated leadership
Strong analytical capabilities and ability to deliver breakthrough results
Fluency in English.
