Responsibility for monitoring and control of Custody Settlements department in order to ensure the registration of all data related to custody and depository activities.
-Monitor and control specific activity of Custody Back Office for ensuring timely and correct processing of instructions received, reporting and reconciliation;
-Design the necessary internal procedures and make them available to all the people involved; make all the necessary updates in order to reflect the real workflow and processes;
-Ensure the products testing and issues the decisions/suggestions on the results;
-Efficiency monitoring – providing monthly reports on the result of the departments efficiency;
-Evaluate the human resources needs and performance;
-Design workflow and set up new procedures related to new products;
-Maintain relationship with other departments (commercial departments, operations and middle offices);
-Get involved in projects that requires participation of Custody Back Office;
-Decide on assigning people for specific unusual activities or projects that require involvement of Custody Settlements;
Education: university degree - preferably in Economics;
Experience: min 2 years of banking experience in Operations area;
Professional qualifications / training:
-specialized banking training;
-authorizations (BSE, NSC);
-knowledge of operations procedures;
-specialized trainings for managerial position;
-organizational skills;
Computer proficiency: very good PS skills;
Language proficiency: very good command of English (speaking, reading and writing);
Knowledge:
-knowledge of internal procedures & policies, products, services, bank organization, specialized processing of settlements for treasury deals and custody instructions;
-knowledge of the NBR and NSC rules and regulations.
