You will….
…develop and maintain high-payload client-server applications using C/C++
…port part of the existing applications from Linux to Windows platforms
…put to good use your system programming knowledge involving filesystem I/O, processes/threads, IPC, network programming under Linux and Windows platforms
…research / enhance open-source projects, as needed
If you have:
…good understanding of system programming concepts such as processes/threads, filesystems, IPCs, network interfaces.
…practical experience with system programming APIs in C/C++ under Linux and Windows
…good knowledge of Windows Server products (2000, 2003, 2008) and APIs (Base/Advanced Services, User Interface)
…knowledge of object-oriented design practices and patterns
…experience with relational databases (MySQL)
…knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash
…good ability to speak and understand English
Would be a plus:
…interest in Windows Server Device Driver programming
…knowledge of C# / Java
…knowledge of German language
