We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
Cross-Platform C++ Developer
in our Bucharest-based Linux Development team.
What would you do?
You will
develop and maintain high-payload client-server applications using C/C++;
port part of the existing applications from Linux to Windows platforms;
put to good use your system programming knowledge involving filesystem I/O, processes/threads, IPC, network programming under Linux and Windows platforms;
research / enhance open-source projects, as needed.
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have:
good understanding of system programming concepts such as processes/threads, filesystems, IPCs, network interfaces;
practical experience with system programming APIs in C/C++ under Linux and Windows;
good knowledge of Windows Server products (2000, 2003, 2008) and APIs (Base/Advanced Services, User Interface);
knowledge of object-oriented design practices and patterns;
experience with relational databases (MySQL);
knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash;
good ability to speak and understand English.
Would be a plus:
interest in Windows Server Device Driver programming;
knowledge of C# / Java;
knowledge of German language.
