This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller who wants to join a top muti-national pharmaceutical company. The main purpose of the job is to monitor the payment performance of all clients.
Responsibilities
Develops and implements credit control policies to ensure that debts are within acceptable limits;
Maintains records and evidence relating to debtors management accounts receivable;
Prepares regular reports and analyses of receivable account for management;
Prepares reviews of debtors in accordance with sales, finance and other departments requirements;
Monitors the payment performance of all clients;
At month-end, the Credit Controller will circulate to the Head of Finance and Sales a report detailing the customers that have had credit freeze in the past month, and correspondingly also indicate the count of the occurrence of the credit freeze in the trading history of the customer, list of customers on Credit alert and Debtors Aging Report.
Other Features
The objectives for the job holder are set by the immediate manager on a daily/monthly basis and the deadlines are given to the jobholder based on a designed work system.
Daily planning and prioritisation of work is to be done by the job holder.
Knowledge and experience
University degree in a related discipline or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience on a similar position
Computer literate (ERP, Microsoft products)
Knowledge of applicable governments regulations
Fluent knowledge of the English (reading/writing/speaking)
Strong analytical skills
Experience to work under deadlines, prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities, proactive approach
Time management and task prioritization, good communication and interpersonal skills.
