Reporting to the European Area Manager of a Spanish company based in Barcelona, this role is ideal for any individual who enjoys getting involved in all aspects of sales. The candidate will be responsible for the sales and marketing of company's products in accordance with agreed policies and procedures and to agreed timescales and targets.

We are searching an enthusiastic and hard working individual with a background in field sales to retailers and wholesalers. Significant growth in this company has brought about the need to expand their sales force to keep up with the demanding market. He will act as the point of contact for customers within the local market and be responsible for delivering against targets, as well as engaging with others to deliver customer requirements as necessary. This role is 75% field and 25% office based. It is suited to someone who gets a thrill from always being out and about with a full diary.

We are currently selling in Romania but we want to continue growing in the present-day distribution channels and search for new accounts in other distribution channels.


CERINTE

Typically responsible for a number of small - medium sized accounts, or in some instances, as the single point of contact for larger clients.
Meeting customers face-to-face, in order to get to know and understand their business
Actively building and developing relationships with customers
Proactively promoting company's products to users.
Introduce new products with demonstrations.
To ensure customer satisfaction, including prompt dealing with customer complaints or concerns
Maintain and build relationships with major clients to maximize opportunities within established accounts and identify future opportunities.

About the person:
Enthusiastic, hard working and self-motivated
Computer literate
Complete all paperwork to a high standard and with attention to detail.
Ideal candidate will have a full clean driving license
English spoken

Desirable:
Previous Business Development Experience
Good awareness and knowledge of tools, Power Tools, building machinery market and products.
We would value the knowledge of the distribution channels for tools and building machinery (tile stores, DIY Stores, building materials chain of stores, etc)
Speaking Spanish, but not indispensable.
Good knowledge of SAP R3 or ERP 6.0
