The client is an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy firm, working for both the public and private sectors on a worldwide basis.
Their bespoke, sustainable project solutions cover all aspects of land development, buildings, civil engineering, transport, water and the environment.
The Romanian office of our client has great growth potential and on current expectations the team is anticipated to triple within a short
period if time.
You will be responsible for:
- developing the practice, creating opportunities for new work with existing clients,
- the promotion of all work with existing clients as well as
- marketing new clients and professionals.

We are looking for:
- a highly competent, ambitious Senior Engineering professional to become the new Country Manager
- to help build a team capable of making the Romanian office of our client into a Center of Excellence for Structural Engineering.
- To be successful you will have post graduate experience working across a wide variety of construction and engineering projects
with a very high degree of specialist technical knowledge.
(Your degree may be in engineering or construction or any related discipline and you will have achieved Chartered or Incorporated
membership status).
- You will be highly experienced managing teams.
- You must be fluent in Romanian and English
As Country Manager:
- you will have excellent leadership and communication skills,
- excellent people management and business awareness skills
- and be strongly client focused with a results orientated approach.
- You will need to exhibit an exceedingly organized approach at all times and possess the ability to be flexible and adaptable and be
responsive in all situations.
The attractive salary.
- will be commensurate with experience and will include a flexible benefits package to suit the employee’s requirements + profit
related bonus.
- Payable in Romania in Euros, equivalent to £35,000 - £45,000.
