JOB PURPOSE:
In the role of the Assistant to Country Manager you will be acting professionally in an international environment in order to facilitate Country Manager’s daily activity and to manage the contracts between Freescale and the services suppliers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing a wide variety of executive administrative duties as required by daily operations of the Country Manager: organizing agenda, planning and organizing on-site and off-site events, and special visits;
- Offering support in preparing specific documents and presentations for the Country Manager;
- Coordinating the purchasing activity within Freescale Romania: regular market research for services supplies; negotiation of the contract and payment terms; editing contract drafts; purchasing system up-date with purchase requests and delivering the purchase order to services vendor;
- Offering information and support to Freescale Global Procurement organization;
- Ensuring the compliance of the purchasing process with Freescale Purchasing Policies: contracts approval flow, payment authorization;
- Ensuring a very good collaboration with other persons involved in the purchasing process;
- Delivering internal trainings and presentations for business group managers and nominated employees, if needed;
- Offering support for internal controls
- University degree
- Strong computer and Ms Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- The ability to manage in a professional manner the relationship with all levels of internal management and staff
- Very good planning and organizing skills
