- The candidate must work in a creative partnership with our managers to conceive, develop and produce effective marketing pieces. - This involves writing 'copy', coming up with the original catch phrases, and slogans. It also includes writing all the wording in any type of piece such as: banners, email, posters, press, brochures, websites etc.
- Sharp, cleaver, sophisticated, big ideas, narrative, story telling, and a little on the edge Copywriter for a great Company. The Copywriter will work in all formats for advertising, marketing and promotional materials targeted at an affluent consumer market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Great communication skills
- Ability to take a manager abstract description and create a design concept that captures the desired value proposition.
- Make design / production of our corporate Websites, create marketing slicks, catalogs, brochures, literature, flyers, etc.
- Working in a close-knit creative partnership with Graphic Designer to generate workable concepts and ideas;
- Writing clear, persuasive and original copy;
Carefully proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar;
- Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends;
- Desire to work as part of a team/flexible;
- Other duties as required
Qualification:
- A degree or diploma in English, journalism, communications or a related field
- At least two year's experience as a copywriter (including experience with interactive media)
Proven knowledge Microsoft, Microsoft Office Specialist HTML and CSS is a plus
- Self-motivated with a keen enthusiasm
- Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects, with diverse audiences and concisely communicate complex or
Public Relations and telecom industry experiences a plus
