Working as a partner with Sales Representatives in Oracle, the Contract Specialist ensures standard and non-standard transactions are quoted and booked in compliance with Oracle's Business Practices.
The Contract Specialist will prioritise/manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, and work closely with several internal Oracle Groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drafting and processing standard direct and indirect ordering documents for products and services
Drafting and processing various types of license assignments.
Understanding and applying current business practices and pricing policies, current revenue recognition policies, current migrations and migration policies, current sales compensation program and guidelines.
Understanding and keeping up to date with the systems & applications used by Oracle
Training and testing on policies and procedures to ensure and demonstrate our ability to remain current with all the changes within Oracle and outside of Oracle in the accounting community.
Contract Process - assisting sales representatives during the contract processes by receiving, checking, communicating re templates and forms. Ensuring compliance with Oracle guidelines (pricing, discounting, revenue recognition, business practices, credit, legal, migrations, contract management, etc.).
Booking Package Process – assisting Sales with the entire booking package process (ordering document, exhibits, agreement and purchasing documentations, signatures on all relevant documents, confirmation of correct documents, purchasing documentation, sales credits for all products, OE package for imaging in the appropriate order, archived documents, scanned packages
Customer Service to be Delivered to Sales Team - Providing professional customer service to sales by drafting quality contracts and releasing in a timely manner, reviewing quotes, and advising sales on Oracle’s policies and procedures
Interaction with several Oracle departments to provide the highest level of support to sales and help protect Oracle’s interests: sales, legal, revenue recognition, credit, order administration, ebusiness migrations, license management services, contract management, collections and internal auditors.
Attending training meetings and sessions and interacting professionally with our peers and managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Fluency in English, German, Portuguese, Russian or French is a must
University degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 1-year experience
Strong mathematical aptitude
