Our client is an austrian construction company, specialised in civil construction, roads and bridges and railwys. For the further development of its team, we are currently searching for a Contract Manager Roads and Bridges.
In this challenging position your main focus is:
- the analysis and interpretation of contracts, mainly regarding the applicable FIDIC conditions of contracts
- supporting the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality processes on Contracts.
- editing and preparing risk analysis and reports, as well as attending disputes adjudication hearings (in support to adjudication experts) represent an important part of this position???s responsibilities.
- creating and implementing procedures for the further improvement in efficiency of the entire department.
- providing Project Management skills to ensure that the project is managed to meet all contractual requirements.
- ensure the effective management of labour & subcontract resources in liaison with the Project Manager to deliver the project safely, to budget, to programme and to contract requirements.
- supporting the Commercial Director and Area Commercial Manager in administering subcontracts.
- responsible for the establishment, maintaining and development professional relationships.
- provision of information to QS
- FIDIC knowledge is a must
- Technical University, Specialization degree in constructions roads & bridges;
- 5-10 years experience
- Good analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills;
- Leadership skills.
- Fluent in English;
- PC literacy (MS Office);have a sound knowledge of building construction techniques and materials;
- well organized;
