We are looking for a Continuous Integration Engineer to build and manage the continuous integration environment for all of our products. This platform needs to handle different technologies like Java, JSP, Databases, PHP, Perl, Visual Basic, VC#, Flash etc., and different modalities Web Applications on Tomcat, Weblogic, Apache and Desktop applications deployed through Install Shield or likes.
You will be responsible for setting up the environment including identifying the right software for version control, build, unit test framework, reporting framework for build and test case failures. You will then work with different development teams in bringing them onto this framework and will be managing it for future changes.
- B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering with 4 years experience in working with different version control systems cvs, svn, vss.
- Experience in working unit testing frameworks like Junit, Nunit and setting up automatic runs and regular reporting.
- Should be proficient at Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Experience with code coverage tools like clover is a plus.
- Expert in deploying web applications in WAR format.
- Experience in working with automated build systems like Cruise Control, Maven.
- Experience with desktop build software like Install Shield or equivalent is a plus.
- Programming knowledge in Java and/or VC# is a plus.
- Experience in databases esp. MySQL and writing queries in SQL is a plus.
- Must have strong Technical Depth, Inter-personal skills, oral and written communication skills, and an ability to think out-of-the-box.
- Should be able to mentor a junior team member.
