The Content Production Specialist is concerned with ensuring the ease of use of Oracle.com worldwide sites, by keeping content up-to-date, maintaining the integrity of the sites, communicating with the Oracle HQ teams and as needed directly with in-country site reps, and supporting the rest of the team in various projects as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Perform page and document creation
-HTML coding
-Content loads
-Content tagging and other search optimization projects
-QA and testing of new functionality
-Routine site maintenance tasks
-Quality control and link checking
-Content scrub activities, including identifying orphan and out-of-date content, deleting files, running relevant reports
-Special projects as required
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Work Experience
-3-5 years working on Web
-Clear understanding of Web site information architecture
-Proficient in HTML, DreamWeaver and other relevant applications
-Able to develop clear, concise project status reports
-Detail oriented
-Excellent written and verbal skills with experience in business communications
-Proven ability to work well with others under pressure of quick delivery dates
-Capable of developing content plans for complex sites
-Posses understanding of Oracle marketing initiatives and core messaging
-Multi-language skills relevant to EMEA; LAD; and APAC countries.
