Our client is a well known Austrian company specialized in the production and distribution of plywood and hardboard.
To assist the growth in Romania our client requires an ACCOUNTANT that will be support for the Chief Accountant of the company.
RESPONSABILITIES:
-Records all financial transactions related (banks, salaries, petty cash, etc.) according to Romanian accounting standards and the company’s recording procedures.
- Records issued invoices.
- Verifies payments of salaries for the company.
- Updates and maintains all the statutory accounting documents related to the area of responsibility.
- Identifies and resolves any exceptions to the process or problems that occur.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports on different financial status according to established criteria.
- Prepares weekly reports on the sector’s activities and progress towards achieving objectives.
- Ensures archiving according to established procedures.
- Suggests improvements to work flows and work process in order to maximize the sector’s efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepares and updates operating procedures for the position’s area of responsibility.
- Introduces all necessary data related to the position’s area of responsibility into the system in an accurate way.
Education
- University degree in accounting
Experience
- 1 year experience in an accounting position
Skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Romanian
- Good knowledge of PC utilization including word processor, spreadsheets and databases utilization knowledge
- Good problem solving skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Driving license
- 28 - 35 years(indicative)
