JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Must be able to effectively oversee all aspects of design/ construction process and steer project(s) to successful conclusion within tight time frames;
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, budget allocations;
- Must have solid, working knowledge of all engineering functions associated with facility design and construction — including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical;
- Able to function in a fast paced, results oriented environment with a high degree of flexibility.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to the technical director and oversee all activities of contracted consultants in preparation of permitting strategies, timetables, cost plans, tenders, program development, on site engineering and construction process;
- Ensure with the design team timely submission of all permit applications;
- Ensure the completion of all documentation for tender in a usable format for the purpose intended;
- Ensure with the main contractor completion of all post-construction requirements for occupancy, including any necessary certificates, inspections and insurance confirmation.
Job requirements:
- University degree in civil engineering, architecture or project management;
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience;
- Good communication abilities, team player;
- Entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiastic, driven, energetic;
- Fluency in English, spoken and written.
