RESPONSABILITATI

Department Overview

The Business Development Department is responsible for the development and performance of sales activities in order to maximize rooms, groups, conferences and events revenue in the respective hotel.
The sales department is responsible for giving the correct image and representation of the hotel in a dignified form towards customers and negotiating partners and contributes to the optimal economic success of the hotel with rational use of operating resources.

Quality

Ensures that all calls are answered politely and efficiently ensuring that the callers needs are met.
Must have an up-to-date knowledge of the Hotel products and services.
Maintains very good knowledge of the market and competition.

Customer

Responsible for the acquisition of new customers as well as the further development of current clients in the following sectors: corporate clients, meeting clients and individual traveller.
Builds and maintains relationships with local corporate and individual clients via personal meetings, telephone calls and emails and ensures a high level of client’s satisfaction.
Completes hotel site inspection for potential clients.
Negotiates the contracts.
Organizes different kind of events.

Profit

Responsible for inbound calls to prospective clients in order to increase sales.
Negotiates the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
Meets the sales target for conference and meeting and Group rooms.
Draws-up reports regarding sales activity.

People

Works and co-operates with others, takes part in departmental meetings, team briefings and project work and supports other team members, providing assistance when necessary to ensure the team collectively achieve their goals.

CERINTE

Minimum 6 months previous experience in sales /events/ protocol /customer service.
Dynamic, sales and customer oriented, able to work under pressure and with short deadlines, team player.
University graduate (tourism field would be a great asset).
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Romanian.
Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet).
Must be EU citizen.
