RESPONSABILITATI

We are looking for an experienced HR generalist to join the team, able to work within a challenging environment and identify areas for service improvement. The Human Resources Department is responsible for all aspects of the employment of Competition Council’s 300+ workforce and its main responsibilities include recruitment and selection, employee planning and budgeting, apprenticeship programs and appraisal process management, as well as employee development. HR officers offer advice and guidance on HR issues having a good knowledge of HR policies and procedures and employment legislation.


CERINTE

This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Human Resources Department such as the implementation of company rules and regulations, maintenance of the HR information system, administration of employee files, employee development and employment.
Working within a collaborative team environment, you will provide support and advice to line managers when dealing with onboarding, grievance, setting objectives and performance management issues. You will participate in panels when required and contribute to the recruitment and selection processes.

As an HR Officer, you must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills and a team player mentality. Proactive and analytical, you must also be results-driven, able to work on your own initiative and have a strong attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in this diverse role and possess a working knowledge of the national legal framework applicable to public organizations with a focus on performance assessment and talent management experience.

Liaison and Co-ordination:

• Liaise with all departments of the Competition Council, private sector, government and other international organisations in order to advocate the best practices in terms of HR management and increase the effectiveness of the HR processes;
• Co-ordinate workshops and meetings with government officials, private sector representatives and peers;

Requirements:
• University degree
• Keen interest in HR issues;
• Very good drafting skills, proven ability to organise and to clearly summarise complex material, encompassing statistical data;
• Self-motivation and ability to work effectively on the basis of general instructions with minimum supervision;
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines;
• Demonstrated analytical capacity, knowledge and understanding of relevant policy issues;
• Good communication skills;
• Understanding of Romanian public sector rules;
• An excellent command of English.
