SECURITIES SERVICES Department Responsibilities:
- To create and update the internal control procedures and to efficiently organize the internal control activities ;
- To monitor and regularly verify the application of dispositions related to custody and depository activities and internal procedures; keeping track of irregularities discovered ;
- To insure the company and its employees in regard to the juridical base applicable to capital markets;
- To oversee the documents sent by NSC in regard to the authorizations required by the NSC rules, and also to oversee the reports sent to NSC and to capital markets entities;
- To overcome and propose actions for law-breaking situations, breaking present regulations related to capital markets or for company’s internal procedures by the bank or by its employees;
Treasury and Capital Markets Division responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of legal documents for customer transactions;
- Assist in the creation of legal documents for syndicated loans and bond issues;
Our client is a well-known financial group and they are currently looking to fill the position of Compliance Manager for their Asset Management subsidiary.
The ideal candidate for this position has:
- University degree, preferrably in Law
- Good experience in a similar position ( in a bank, brokerage or asset management company)
- Good understanding of capital market regulations
- Good command of English
-Special requirements (instruments and equipment to be used, etc.): NSC certification, knowledge or certification in regard to discount systems
