The Collection Officer is mainly responsible for the outbound and inbound client calls with the aim to close the existing debits (related to loan products) with ING in a professional manner.
As a Collection Officer your main
responsibilities will be:
-To communicate to customers the collection policy in an effective and friendly manner
- To receive calls from customers who had received notices and who want to seattle their debts
- To obtain a payment promise from each customer contacted
- To follow up the promises made by the customers
- To create and maintain good payment behaviour to the customers
- Min. 1 year-relevant job experience retail collections/ call centre work,
- Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude, professional and diplomatic communication style, persuasiveness, focus on achieving results, investigative spirit, team worker, stress tolerance.
