As a comprehensive software development solution, the backbone is the CodeWarrior™ integrated development environment, built on Eclipse open source framework. Using CodeWarrior™, developers get the benefit of using common functionality across a broad range of Freescale processors and platforms.
Development targets include the entire Freescale silicon product portfolio: Digital Signal Processors and Controllers (e.g. StarCore), 32-bit Microcontrollers and Processors (e.g. Power Architecture, ColdFire), 8/16-bit Microcontrollers, 2.5G-3G+ Cellular Platforms, etc.
We are looking for an experienced enthusiastic self-starter compiler engineer to work on embedded compiler front-end and/or back-end. More specifically, the working area includes advanced automatic code generation, register allocation, instruction scheduling and merging of multidisciplinary advanced compiling techniques.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Understanding of embedded development platforms
- Self-starting and ability to take initiative
- Background in compilers is a major plus
- Ph.D. (or preparing) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering a big plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Team spirit, ability to work well in a diverse team environment
- Good English command
