Adecco recruits for its client, an important company acting in oil&gas industry, a Civil Engineer whose main responsibilities will be:
Support the Project Department and project teams and ensure compliance with Romanian, European and Company laws and standards;
Work on projects such as design of roadways, foundations, buildings, utilities, water and wastewater infrastructure, oil/gas pipelines and structures for equipment/machinery;
Participate in project technical reviews, assessments and audits;
Analyze existing facilities and propose process improvements/ upgrades to decrease operations costs;
Keep contact with industry, suppliers, authorities as well as with other engineer disciplines to prevent delays resulting from poor interfacing;
Coordinate planning for roads routing, design and project execution and supervise the services/works performed by contractors;
Report on a regular basis on the overall activity, assignments, tasks and projects to the line manager;
Plan and conduct self development in cooperation with the Lead Engineer.
BSc (Diploma Engineer);
Minimum of 5 years experience preferably in oil and gas industry;
Experienced in conceptual design studies, FEED, detailed design, project and construction management;
Deep knowledge and experience in the field of civil engineering and structures;
Knowledge of project management at high standards;
IT knowledge and experience in relevant engineering software applications (AutoCAD/Autodesk Land Desktop, structural analysis software);
Languages minimum requirement: English and Romanian intermediate;
Willingness to work in Ploiesti most of the time.
