• Receive documents (Tender documents, Proposal, Process description, Drawings, Specifications) pertaining to the works from the Process department. Review the documents and ensure that all data required for engineering are available.
• Prepare drawings, documents and specifications for civil construction works (including but not limited to general outline civil drawings, structural calculation of water retaining structures, pilling calculation, structural, reinforcement and formworks’ drawings, method statements of civil construction and so on) according to the project specifications and send regarding enquiries to the specified/non-specified suppliers
• Assisting Procurement / Operation departments to prepare the technical and commercial inquires, and material requisitions and as quotations from various suppliers are received, assisting the department suppliers’ technical evaluation. Clarify and solve upcoming technical problems with partners and suppliers and keep a close watch on the proceedings through suppliers’ and sub-contactors’ relationship.
• Evaluate the supplier quotations against the project requirements, make comparative analysis of the total quantity and apply optimal solution.
• Support for civil construction works to assist the project manager and subcontractors, if applicable on-site.
• Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably in Structure approach) with long-term experience of civil construction works of water and wastewater treatment plants
• A minimum of 1 project experience with water and wastewater projects as well as relevant experiences in engineering are required, also including the knowledge of international regulations and codes, such as DIN/ISO
• Able to communicate in Romanian and English fluently , German language skills will be an advantage
• Experience in computer (MS Office Package, Auto Cad (2D is a must ,and preferably 3D), structural engineering (SAP2000, Robots or similar) and quantity survey software
• Excellent communication skills providing smooth clients’ and suppliers’ relationships and offer proceeding
• Ability to find and propose technical solutions under consideration of financial aspects
• As a team player with a flexible approach, he/she has the ability to cope and still carry out his/her work steadily and accurately
