Due to the expansion of the Group¿s IT distribution activities in Romania, Logicom Public LTD - through Lugera & Makler - is looking for a Cisco Product Manager.
The person to be appointed will be expected to successfully:
- Defines Market Segmentation and Business Case;
- Develops Product Definition, Pricing, Positioning, Go-to-Market Strategy, Market Analysis, Forecasting and Launch Plan;
- Develops Marketing Plan for a Product Solution (multiple products) through market research, competitive analysis, and business planning;
- Creates and executes Marketing Strategies for product offerings for targeted markets and segments;
- Leads Cross-functional teams, Field Operations, IT, Marcom, and Internal & External Partners to establish product offerings and positioning;
- Ensures effective matching of products to customer needs that result to successful sales;
- Understands and Addresses the impact of competitive products and services within targeted market segments;
- Drives development of Content of product messaging, collateral launching, press releases, customer presentations, and sales training material;
- Works with Marcom and field operations to determine appropriate communication and training means to ensure successful global announcement, field readiness and product launching;
- Promotes Product Offerings through presentations/ speaking engagement, papers and customer visits;
- Develops and Drives Competitive Marketing Campaigns to ensure success and market share;
- Measures the impact and market penetration of new and existing products/ solutions;
- Co-ordinate effective outbound product marketing activities working closely with Marcom, field operations and local Cisco team, to address market needs and create market demand.
- University degree, preferably in Engineering, Science or Business related discipline;
- MBA or Postgraduate degree will be considered an advantage;
- At least 5 years related experience in marketing internet-working technologies and applications and/ or marketing and rolling-out of (telecom) products to customers/ channels, out of which 2 preferably in a managerial position;
- Experience in a high-tech company environment will be considered an advantage;
- Experience and understanding in applying complete Life-cycle Marketing;
- Ability to build consensus in the face of divergent interests while staying true to customer success;
- Superior Interpersonal Skills especially in leading virtual teams, collaboration, influence and change management;
- Excellent Project Management, Negotiation, Prioritization, Problem-solving and Decision-making skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team and at the same time;
- Manage cross-functional teams in complex, matrix environments;
- Flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing, customer and deadline-driven environment;
- Tackles complex issues in creative ways and uses originality, ingenuity and expertise to create effective and lasting solutions;
- Analytical thinking ability and result oriented;
- Shows initiative and can work with minimal guidance and supervision;
- Excellent Presentation skills;
- Be able to work flexible working hours;
- Excellent knowledge of oral and written English;
- Ability to travel in-country and abroad.
