Short task description:
Analyse and testing on site of existing relay circuits for railway signalling systems.

As a Circuit Engineer you will travel abroad to the customer’s site in order to record and document the existing equipments. You will be in charge with testing them and creating the interface between these equipments and the existing elements. You will be responsible for creating the specifications for the implementation of Thales’s solution and test the new designed relay based signaling equipment on site. In other words, you will be responsible with creating a linking interface between the ESTW interlocking installation and (part of) the existing installation, starting from an electrical design.
On site you will also have to make error analysis and documentation of relay based signaling equipments.
You will work with an International team with engineers based in Germany and Romania.
We are looking for someone with:
Education:
Technical study of Transportation/Electronics Faculty
Personal competencies
Knowledge in the railway signalling domain.
Experience in the relay based circuit domain.
Strong analytic and problem solving skills;
Goal-orientated;
Reliable;
Team-working;
Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;
Availability for travelling abroad;
Languages:
Good English communication skills - written and oral
German language is a plus
