On behalf of our client, a household name in the Food/ FMCG industry, we are looking to recruit a highly professional and motivated Finance Manager.
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the overall finance functions of the company by leading a team of finance&accounting professionals. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Management Team by directing the financial affairs of the company and providing financial analysis of operations for the guidance of Senior Management.
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Treasury management and liquidity management
- Oversees the Accounts Receivable collection process
- Manages the financial and accounting departments for companies under supervision
- Validates, improves and updates current working procedures and designes new procedures, specific to the activities coordinated
- Prepares annual budget and has overall responsibility for budgeting process
- Monitors the company’s performance against the budget
- Management information system including margin and profitability analysis for departments, products, clients as well as reporting system
- Documents approval according to authority level
- Closes annual audits
- Team management and development
Suitable candidates should possess all or almost all of the following skills and expertise:
- University degree in Finance, MBA or similar degree is considered an advantage;
- 5 years or more of management experience;
- Strong background in accounting with experience developing and administering controls and procedures;
- Good understanding of an ERP;
- Proven experience in leading and developing a team;
- Good communication skills;
- Good English language skills;
- A mentality to build and develop the department.
