On behalf of our client, an international architecture company, with offices in London and Bucharest and associated partners in Stockholm and Amsterdam, specialized in large-scale construction and development projects, we are searching for a Chief Architect.
Typical work activities will include:
- Coordinating and supervising the architects team;
- Negotiating with contractors and other professionals;
- Preparing tender applications and presentations for companies clients;
- Consulting with clients about the design of their environment;
- Preparing and presenting design proposals to the client;
- Using IT in design and project management, specifically software packages such as (AutoCad, Corel, 3D Max or similar)
- Advanced knowledge in AutoCad & 3 D studio, 2 D and 3 D design.
- Advising the client on the practicality of their project;
- Keeping within financial budgets and time deadlines;
- Producing detailed drawings from which costings are made;
- Preparing planning applications;
- Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed time-scale;
- Solving problems that might occur during building;
- Carrying out defect inspections.
Cerinte:
The successful candidate should have:
- Signature right provided by both, OAR and UAR;
- A minimum of 5 years post qualification relevant experience;
- Evidence of strong conceptual design and design communication skills;
- AutoCAD (preferred) or MicroStation capable. Knowledge of Revit would be a plus;
