- Coordinates and monitors the accounting department;
- Responsible for all the accounting & financial operations within the company;
- Responsible for improving the cash flow;
- Performs month-end/annual closing according to local authorities;
- Prepares all reports according to group requirements;
- Complete statutory accounting reports: VAT, all tax declarations, Balance sheet, Income statement, cash-flows etc;
- Keeps the relation with Romanian tax authorities and Labor Chamber;
- Follows developments in the current Romanian and international accounting standards, in tax regulation and other issues (like environmental standards);
- Keeps the relation with bank, leasing suppliers, insurance companies and other third parties;
- Prepares the annual budget under General Manager supervision;
- Provides ad-hoc reports and analysis;
- Participating in the improvement of internal policies and procedures;
- University degree in economics / accounting;
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in construction / building materials industry;
- Expert accountant is a plus;
- Good knowledge of English, German is a plus;
- Very good knowledge of Tax legislation;
- Computer skills (MS Office, accounting software);
- Proactive, details oriented, accurate, systematic and analytical thinking.
