Location Bucharest
Prepares financial statements and various accounting reports according to Romanian accounting, legal and financial regulations.
Supervises the accuracy of general ledger (GL) entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records; ensures that sub-ledgers are reconciled with GL.
Assigns staff members to projects and direct their daily activities. Prepares and conducts performance reviews, provides training, feedback, coaching and discipline.
Provides financial and accounting advice to management staff.
Provides financial and accounting information to auditors, fiscal consultants and government bodies and responds to any questions that arise.
Makes sure that the tax returns and statutory reports (intrastate, VAT reports, journals) are prepared in accordance with the Romanian regulations in place.
Assesses the performance of his/her own team; ensures the development of accounting team;
Coordinates the entire accounting team.
1-2 years in a similar position
Excellent analytical skills;
Organization, time management and task prioritization skills;
Able to work individualy as well as a team member;
Organized person;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Sound knowledge of accounting and leagislation, fiscality.
University degree – Economics profile (mandatory) / Accounting would be a plus
Languages English – good level
