The Chief Accountant must ensure accurate postings and financial statements in accordance with local regulation and organise the accountants and their jobs in a manner to provide professional accounting services to Group customers within the shared services agreements.
Working Partners/Contacts
Internals: Siemens srl Top Management, internal auditors, heads of divisionsd other company employees;
Externals: Banks and financial institutions, external auditors, representatives of local authorities, customers, suppliers and other company's partners.
Tasks
Responsible for accurate bookings, monthly closing and checks of statutory reports for other Group companies; signing for compliance;
Ensures timely and properly documented and reviewedpostings and balances consistency, completness and compliance;
Manage the accountant and their worksCalculates and posts provisions, accruals, and other adjustments for monthly closings RAS/ IFRS/US-GAAP;
VAT, tax on profit and other taxes returns preparation and/or review;
Works closely with other Chief Accountants, FI, SD and other e-pass key user for implementing and running new e-pass processes;
Responsible for finance and accounting archive management;
Education
University Degree
Knowledge/Languages
CCA;
ERP experience (SAP especially FI and CO module), Excel, PowerPoint and databases;
Legal and comercial knowledge;
Fluency in English; German;
Owns Expert Accountants Certificate issued by CECCAR;
Intercultural working experience would be an advantage.
Experience
Over 5 years experience in finance and accounting fields;
Over 3 years experience in process managing;
Over 3 years experience in managing profesional teams over 4 employees;
