Responsibilities:
• Prepare the company’s financial reports as required by the Romanian accounting and tax legislation, as well as the International Financial Reporting Standards;
• Responsible for the timely payment of company liabilities;
• Prepare, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (according to the Romanian legislation), the specific Reporting Statements regarding corporate tax, payroll tax, as well as other charges/taxes required by the legislation in force, specific for the activity of the company;
• Submit regular reports to the Romanian National Bank according to the requirements of the Romanian legislation;
• Prepare and submit regular financial management reports to the country manager and company headquarters.
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting or related;
• Experience in the position of Chief Accountant minimum 3 years;
• Experience in a non-bank financial institution would be considered as a plus;
• In-depth knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax legislation as well as International Financial Reporting Standards;
• Excellent computer skills - proficient in MS Excel;
• Very good command of English (knowledge of Bulgarian would be considered an advantage).
