- Performs professional accounting or auditing work requiring knowledge of the theory and practice of recording, classifying, examining, analyzing and advising on financial transactions;
- Ensures all transactions are accounted for in accordance with local regulations;
- Establishes efficient and effective procedures for accounting;
- He/She is responsible for all taxation matters;
- Prepares information of economical character regarding financial management of company including operational and strategic decisions ( e.g. information regarding development of revenue, expenses and depreciation);
- Prepares reports for local regulators;
- Deals with financial authorities and co-operates with company'auditors;
- Assists in recruitment and training of junior bookkeeping staff;
- Ensures that the business of the company is adequately supported by quality and timely bookkeeping;
- Ensure that internal accounting policies and procedures, as well as various internal departamental standards and Romanian laws are applied;
- Supervises accounting departament staff in the day-to-day maintaining of account books and in preparing standard reports and statements;
- Set staff objectives, review their performance and were required, take corrective actions to deal with below standard performance.
- Minimum of three years experience in accounting and finance after University graduation (Economic studies is an advantage);
- Very good background of Romanian accounting and tax issues, international accounting standard is an advantage;
- Leads a team of accountants, delegates and co-ordinates all tasks;
- Work independently, responsibility for accounting accuracy in the company;
- Excelent computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, al least one accounting software( SCALA could be an asset);
- Fluency in English is a must;
- Creative and open minded;
- Very good communication skills;
- Organized, efficient and flexible person;
