Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Maintain books of account, operating statements and other records using Romanian Accounting principles.
Performs monthly and annual closing activities.
Supervise and manage payment of taxes, duties, fees and all other tax-related issues.
Supervise and manage the preparation of financial statements and auditors certificates.
Maintain full records and files of all actions undertaken.
Be responsible for all routine matters relating to VAT returns and Taxes.
Participation in reporting activities for the Management Board..
Representing the company in contacts with banks and authorities.
Monthly reports to headquarters.
Degree in accounting or economics.
Min. 7 years experience in accounting, out of which at least 3 years working experience as Chief Accountant in an international company.
Very good knowledge of RAS.
Very good knowledge about local fiscal laws.
Experience with Navision (or SAP) would be an advantage.
Very good knowledge of the English language.
Experience in multinational environment is mandatory
Previous experience in a construction company is considered a plus
Works independently, only exceptionally requires supervision.
Works very well under stress and with strict deadlines.
Analytical and very organized person.
