• Monitoring and controlling accounting transactions (notes) accuracy and observance of Fiscal Code and Norms (internal control)
• Various records required by quarterly closing according to Romanian law
• Various records required by closing of fiscal year conform Romanian law
• Prepare fiscal reports required by Romanian fiscal authorities
• Corporate tax. Closing the income and expenses accounts for the monthly balance sheet. Based on these, calculation of profit or loss and relevant tax.
• Control and monitor of correct deduction of expenses, according to the Romanian legislation and establish the tax for the monthly profit.
• Quarterly issue of the profit tax declaration and effective payment.
• Bi-annual balance sheet prepared at the end of semester year based on the December balance sheet, together with the Profit and Loss Account and annexes to the Balance.
• The balance correlations are checked - the balance is submitted to the fiscal authorities.
• Statistical reports required by the Statistics Department.
• Fills in forms made available by this state authority.
• Organizes and supports the external audit process
• Provides back-up for the Finance Manager
• University or College graduate Finance or Accounting
• Experience of accounting in multinational company advantage
• Proficiency in accounting regulations and tax law
• Fluency in English
• Relevant experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of integrated accounting system
• Strong IT skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Ability to learn new system applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
