For one of our clients, a multinational company activating in production area, we are looking for a Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating and supervising the accounting activity;
Reviewing the month-end adjustments and the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
Preparing financial and tax statements in accordance with Romanian legal requirements;
Organizing and coordinating the internal financial control;
Verifying the correct application of the local civil law and fiscal regulatory requirements;
Following-up the changes in finance laws in order to meet legal requirements;
Ensuring the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts with the information in the group reporting.
University degree (economics);
Relevant experience in accounting, preferable in production area;
Very good knowledge of accounting, cost accounting, Romanian legislation and tax statements;
Good understanding of commercial and production areas;
Strong computer skills;
Very good English;
Proven managerial abilities;
Proactive, creative and open-minded;
Analytical thinking, with structured logical approach.
Working in an entrepreneurial business team, with emphasis on people involvement;
Self-development, challenging and rewarding environment.
