On behalf of our client, a Multinational Company, we are looking for an experienced CHIEF ACCOUNTANT, to join the team.
Main responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, coordinates and supervises the accounting activity;
- Coordinates the activity of accountants and senior accountants;
- Ensures that the balance sheets are timely elaborated, according to the legal requirements.;
- Ensure the monthly elaboration of trial balance and general ledgers, as well as half-yearly and annual balance sheet;
- Takes on the responsibility regarding records, periodical statements and reports;
- Manages the relation with fiscal and administrative authorities;
- Gets involved in elaborating monthly statements;
- Elaborates and deposits financial and profit and loss statements;
- Establishes and delegates tasks for the accounting department;
- Manages all accounting, cost accounting, treasury, capital planning, and administrative duties (Statutory accounting and compliance with external Romanian authorities’ requirements – Customs, VAT, Tax Reports, Payroll withholding Taxes, Declarations, Etc.).
Requirements:
- University degree in economics / accounting;
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position;
- General accounting experience in: general accounting tasks and manufacture accounting;
- Experience in production accounting is a major plus;
- Certified Accountant (CECCAR);
- ACCA is an advantage;
- Fluency in English;
- Good management, communication and interpersonal skills.
