-Directs and coordinates the accounting activity to ensure that all the company’s records reflect the business transactions in an accurate manner, according to the Romanian Accounting Standards and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
-Ensures full and timely compliance with all applicable accountancy regulations and legislation;
-Ensures the relationship with Romanian Tax Authorities and auditors;
-Prepares the statutory financial statements and other financial reports for various projects, as required;
-Monitors accounting compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
-Analyzes, interprets, and implements fiscal procedures;
-University degree in Finance & Accounting / Economics;
-Minimum 5 years experience on a similar position - previous experience in pharmaceutical industry would be considered an advantage;
-Relevant experience in finance and taxation within a multinational;
-Very good knowledge of Romanian accounting and fiscal legislation English - advanced level
-Sound IT skills (previous working experience with SAP would be considered an advantage);
-Strategic and independent thinking;
-Capacity for analysis and synthesis
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit, self motivation
