The Chief Accountant must ensure accurate postings and financial statements in accordance with local regulation and organise the accountants and their jobs in a manner to provide professional accounting services to Group customers within the shared services agreements.
Supervise the accounting staff, activities and processes;
Co-operate with other Chief Accountants and Finance Manager for organizing and developing the accounting processes and activities for Company's clients in accordance with local regulations;
Ensures consistency in accounting postings;
Ensure the efficient use of the SAP modules;
Ensures an efficient internal control system;
Internal with external and internal auditors;
Co-operate with Reporting department for correct mapping between Romanian and Group charts of accounts;
Calculate the VAT, tax on profit and other taxes;
Prepare the related tax declarations;
Prepare additional reports for the local management and HQ.
Finance and Accounting Education (ASE);
Professional accounting degrees are preffered;
CCA;
ERP experience (SAP especially FI and CO module), Excel, PowerPoint and databases;
Legal and comercial knowledge;
Fluency in English; German would be an advantage;
Owns Expert Accountants Certificate issued by CECCAR;
Over 5 years experience in finance and accounting fields;
Over 3 years experience in process managing;
Over 3 years experience in managing profesional teams over 4 employees;
Intercultural working experience would be an advantage.
