- Develops, monitors and implements accounting procedures in order to enable the timely and accurate reporting of financial data;
- Assures that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures;
- Oversees the controlling of tax obligations in the Company’s accounting books and the submission of revenue computations, declarations and returns (e.g. VAT) in order to ensure the Company’s compliance with tax regulations;
- Maintains professional relations with tax authorities, manages the periodic audits from the authorities;
- Adheres to all state, local, or international tax laws;
- Is responsible for all staff under supervision, including preparation of financial statements and reports, budgets and forecasts and management information;
- Follows developments in the current Romanian and International accounting standards, in statistics, in business law, in tax regulation, and in issues concerning environmental standards;
- Prepares reports for management;
- University degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics);
- Relevant experience (minimum 3 years on the same or similar position);
- Good English knowledge;
- Extensive knowledge of accounting an laws related;
- Excellent understanding of business and its application in finance;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Analytical and leadership skills, team worker, flexible, problem solving skills and ability to handle stress;
- Computer literate
