Objective: The ideal candidate will be responsible for the commercial, financial, technical, operational, marketing and facility management aspects of one of the shopping centers/retail facility in Bucharest.
Key duties:
- Act as the interface of the client in all dealings with tenants, statutory authorities, external agencies, contractors and customers;
- Instruct and monitor all service providers, facility management, security and cleaning staff as appropriate to ensure a smooth, safe and effective running of the Property;
- Implement and monitor shopping center concept, tenant mix and strategy related to the retail concept;
- Initiate and lead lease negotiations with potential tenants;
- Develop and manage the annual facilities, maintenance and management budgets;
- Establish and manage contracts and service level agreements for all required external consultancies and contractors
- University degree, preferably with background on Economics; MBA is an advantage;
- Commercial background and financial knowledge is required;
- Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably from the retail industry or related business field;
- Experience in managing large facilities with a strong people focus, such as hotels, shopping centres, may be an advantage;
- Proven track record in running retail operations of a similar nature;
- Knowledge of MS Excel or other software suitable for facilities management;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Team player, able to take initiatives naturally; solution-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, customer oriented professional.
