RESPONSABILITATI

The primary objective of the catalog operations team is to create, maintain & publish catalogs for HP Direct customers. Catalogs are the key vehicle for customers to view HP¿s offer to them, and to place orders through e-business capabilities. Therefore, the catalogs have a critical impact on customers¿ experience, and their ability to conduct business with HP.

The Catalog System & Reporting Analyst is going to play a critical supporting role to the catalog operations and the catalog process engineering team.

After you built up expert knowledge in two of the most heavily used systems in the catalog area, you¿ll act in a dual role. On the one side you¿ll be playing the role of 2nd level business support to your catalog operations team mates supporting them with tool issue validation, coordination of the communication and status activities with our IT support teams, as well as expert knowledge on the tools, which you can use during testing and in the continuous improvement cycles of the toolsets.
On the other side, you¿ll be working closely with the Catalog Organizations Process Engineering team, supporting them with your knowledge around defining & running reports regarding process quality and organizations performance against Service Level Agreements.

As the Catalog Systems & Reporting analyst you will be fully accountable for the following

Catalog System Analyst responsibilities
- Expert understanding of the two most heavily used systems eComcat & ACE (Accurate Config Engine)
- 2nd level business support and issue resolution & follow up (validation, logging, status, follow-up, interaction with IT, escalation to Process Eng when necessary)
- Testing of new capabilities per guideline from the process engineer
- Interface to the key users, catalog mgrs
- Keep up to date training material / tool documentation
- Keep static data up to date in eCC & ACE and validate static data with business (productlines, optioncodes etc.)
- Training for new capabilities specific related to eCC & ACE to catalog managers (eg Tier 3, Chardonnay)
- Document possible enhancements and report them to operations and program manager
- Track open eCC & ACE related issues of users in OVSD and monitor resolution itself and resolution time

Reporting responsibilities
- Reporting on TAT & Quality data, efficiency metrics specific to eCC & ACE
- Reporting on Back Office SLA performance
- Ad hoc reporting as needed for the individual processes (content/catalog, container/eBiz, FO-BO interaction...)

Communication responsibilities
- Communicate changes or issues to users (business language instead of IT language)
- Communicate key issues to business stakeholders (AS, PY)


CERINTE

- University degree in IT, Business, Mathematics or similar area
- Excellent in English written, good English oral
- Good knowledge of SQL, Access, Excel
- Excellent knowledge of current MS Office applications
- Good communication skills ¿ ability to ¿translate¿ from Business to IT and back
- Willing to spend a lot of time on the phone, patient enough to understand the problems of the users
- High degree of self motivation
