RESPONSABILITATI

Responsibilities:

- Follow up & organize logistics and distribution activities, responsible for coordinating daily transportation and deliveries.
- Allocate and check daily work and follow up on deliveries.
- Ensure all documentation is properly filled in.
- Understand, operate and interpret the transportation management software, fault finding for daily operations.
-Organize cross-country project based pick-ups and deliveries, coordinate external courier and in house couriers under efficient terms for company.
- Manage company car fleet and reporting system.
- Insure that company policies, rules and regulations are in place in department.
- Responsible for the implementation and reporting of the Health, Safety and Security policy in department.
- May be responsible for moving the product efficiently from supplier through to customers by planning, coordination and control of product.
- Provides information, analysis and recommendations on overall operations;
- Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing
- Resolves problems arising from location and operational area
- Controls distribution costs
-Takes decisions for buying new vehicles or quashing others from the car fleet if necessary
- Maintains a good relationship with the assurance company and makes sure that all the needed authorizations for the company car fleet are all right according to the legislative requirements.
-The car fleet Manager coordinates the daily activity of all drivers, is responsible for all the contracts deled with the auto service plants and also for the good functionality of the company one¿s.
- Evaluates the fuel necessary stock and also the needed spare parts.
- Is in charge with the good functionality of the company¿s storehouses.
- The manager is responsible for both local and international transport.
- The logistic department should be at the same time profitable inside. But also logistic department should give support to all grow-up benefits strategic way.
- The manager should be able to make plans regarding profit and cost deduction short, medium and long term.
- The manager must draw the budget for the department.
- He/she must make every day and weekly reports.
